We waited out the heat wave with lots of resting, eating and baking with an amazing family. Can't begin to describe how grateful I am to have been cared for like I was part of the family.
The heat wave reached 107 degrees. The forecast has only cooled off to 97 degrees for tomorrow but it's time to go back to the trail. It could be a while till the next posting, Internet looks scarce for the next few hundred miles.
