This weekend we spent time with Emily's brother and girlfriend (who were fantastic hosts), ate a ton of pizza and ice cream, updated the blog, resupplied, got a massage, sent home the bear ca
nister (finally!), and made french toast, brie/tomato/thyme on a baguette, stuffed peppers, and peach pie. Very productive weekend in town but I'm ready to leave the traffic and crowds and head back to the simple life of turning food into miles down a beautiful trail and sleeping in my purple palace every night.
