Day 75

Camped at mile 1242.7
21.2 miles
Another lazy start at 6:30. I had a rough start with a lot of uphill. Met Emily at the water source at 11 miles but it was 0.6 off trail and we decided to push the extra 2 miles to the next one which was only 0.17 off trail. Not much water around here. Lots of really awesome ridge walking though.

There is some sort of mint plant every where that is flowering and makes the air very clean and minty smelling, combined with the pine scent it is a great fresh smell.
Hit mile 1234.56 today!
 Lunch is the best time.
I came around a bush up on a ridge and something make a big whooshing noise. It was a huge turkey vulture! Maybe 5 feet away that I startled into flight. He looks tiny in this picture but he was huge.
Not sure what's worse,  dirty feet on my table or eating on my bed
Delicious double dinner. My soup with lots of veggies mixed with a creamy broccoli pasta side and an extra cheese from Emily. And a little bit of thyme on top that was left over from Tahoe and I packed out.
Cribbage in the little spot we found above the trail, not visible from the trail or marked on the map but we picked it out from looking at the topo it looked like a good flat spot would be there and it was.
