Camped at 982.4, 7687 feet, July 4th!
Woke up at 5:27 and hit the trail by six, record bag to trail time, getting faster at packing up in the morning. Saw some deer right on the trail. Two passes again.

Hard work today but we stopped for an hour at a lake and swam a bit, the water was the perfect temperature not freezing, but cold enough to be refreshing. Got wobbly legs down the last hill had to take it really slow.
Got to camp at six. Joined Gypsy Soul, Genie, AV, and a few others around a fire because the mosquitos were pretty bad. Ate dinner and Genie (from Australia) gave me a marshmallow!
Hiding in the bivy and took an early night, very exhausted. Today was a rough day.
