Long day. 21 miles. 2 passes. We weren't trying hard though so that was nice, nice long flat and slightly down the last 7 miles. Beautiful lakes and mountain views. Feet are definitely tired. Didn't sleep particularly well last night either.
We are camped at Tuolumne Meadows campground, the second largest campground in the parks system. So many people. So many cars. We met some girls doing some plant research in the area when we asked them to watch our packs while we went to the store. The campground was huge and hard to navigate, kind of funny you spend weeks in the Sierra and always know where you are and you get into a big established campsite and the store is so hard to find, we had to ask three people for directions!
Got my resupply box from the store and bought some cheese and crackers and a few things for dinner. Joined the girls at their camp fire and they let us pitched our shelters in their area which was nice. They are awesome girls, they are driving us out of the campground back to the trail tomorrow.
