Woke up to rain again but this time everything was still dry! Getting the hang of dealing with the rain finally. It still cuts into my motivation and moral though. I don't like the rain.
A few nasty blow downs and a lot of unstable rocks later it was still raining. Everything was slippery and I fell 3 times. Hard. Not nice easy falls. I expect bruises.
Some good blueberries. Got over Dutch gap and dropped back down to the pct. Startled 4 elk. They are really big animals. Camped with a couple of section hikers. No idea why they chose to do this section in such terrible weather. Hopefully it will clear up tomorrow.
