Day 95

1793.5
28.8
I have to walk approximately a million more steps than a  6 foot tall person to complete a thru hike of the PCT if we assume that two steps is a body length. If a 6 foot person wanted to walk the same number of steps as me to complete the trail they would have to do another 500 miles. The PCT is 2.7 million of my body lengths. Man, this trail is long.

Lots of blow downs today, it got really frustrating and I felt like I was doing more off trail walking than on trail walking which slowed me down. It also added mileage so our already really long day got immeasurably longer. We wanted to put in big miles today so we wouldn't have to dry camp in the 20 mile dry section leading into Mazama.

A mosquito in Spanish is "just a little fly". A really annoying little fly.
