So many berries. Thimble berries and blackberries. So tasty. The whole valley we were walking down all afternoon smelled like ripe berries and sunshine. Wonderful except for all the poison oak.
Saw a bear! Well Em saw the whole bear, I saw half it's butt as it ran away crashing through branches 100 yards away down a ridge and across a creek. Camped with Mary Poppins and Prince at a closed campground at the end of a road. The same prince I camped with near mile 150!
These birds keep jumping out of bushes and scaring me.
