About

This blog is pretty much my day by day journal that I wrote from inside my bivy sack each night on the Pacific Crest Trail. Sometimes I had more time to write than others, sometimes my journal entry is really short because I got to camp late and I was very sleepy. I updated it when I could and uploaded as many pictures as the speed of WiFi in resupply towns allowed. I tried to start each entry with the mile marker and how many miles I walked that day.

I completed the trail in five sections, starting at the end of February 2016, ending mid-September 2016. To read this blog start with the page labeled Day 1-3 and follow the links through to Day 133.

This blog contains a lot of walking, some amazing memories, frustrating challenges, random thoughts, hilarious moments, a ton a pictures and maybe some useful information for future thru-hikers. It's is a little slice of my life and I hope you enjoy it!
